At my new favorite store, the Gold Bug in Pasadena, pop-surrealism meets a neoclassical Wunderkammer and the result is dark, dreamy and thoroughly enchanting. If I had more dollars I would have made several purchases. As it is I will make several visits to admire all the little odds and ends that are so carefully curated.
Also!! I really want to go see the latest version of Oleanna by David Mamet that is playing right now at the Mark Taper Forum. I loved this play when I read it in college and I think Bill Pulman is perfect for the role of the professor. EEEk I hope I get to go!!xoxo,
